In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

2 things are coming to mind.

First of all, I'm wondering if this is just a spider in shed. Some of mine act all retarded when they go into shed. Worse than normal. Since you've only had her a few weeks, this is likely your first shed cycle experienced with this animal. You really didn't know what to expect. When you said she looked dehydrated, skin wrinkled up, that was my first thought. "Is she in shed?" You later stated she is.

Secondly, what good is it to have a guarantee if you don't honor it? We can all sit here and give opinions but it's all moot. We all have to honor our guarantee to the letter. We see small print everywhere in life. What do you think it's there for? It's to protect the buyer and the seller. When you put all the "what if's" in writing, there's no confusion. No, I'm not saying you have to type out every possible situation. I've seen ads that state... Live arrival guarantee. Must be signed for on first delivery attempt or LAG is void. People don't put that there because they're trying to be harsh. They're letting the buyer know they better be available first delivery attempt or no guarantee. That way, it protects the seller if the buyer decides to not be available and the package gets delayed. It's smart to have it spelled out.

Unfortunately, many of us edit our terms/guarantee due to situations like this. Something you never anticipated happening, does in fact happen and you weren't protected against it. Personally, I'm hoping it sheds and goes back to normal, Rob changes his terms(you have to get rid of that 30 day guarantee!), Tom absorbs all this and learns something, people on the BOI stop being rude... Ok, maybe that's too much to hope for but the others seem reasonable.

should make this a drinking game everytime you read NOT IBD in this thread.

LOL...now that had me laughing

Just read the entire thread and am very interested to see how this plays out. Vet appt in 2 hrs? Doubt the vet will have any answer for you today, if they are even qualified to provide answers.

The seller has been nothing but professional this entire time. While the buyer on the other hand, well, if you've read the thread you already know.

Good luck!

It sounds like the buyer needs to roll back his collection to earthworms and get some more experience before moving onto vertebrates.

Ok so someone sells you a junk snake and then you got to change your collection. Makes sense?

Professional means following there OWN advertisement, and making sure the customer is happy with there purchase which rob has not done. He's got the liability he is the one making the money.

Professional means offering advice the entire time. Offering to pay
for your vet visit and a keeping a level head when accusations such as IBD are being thrown around. Honestly the three best educated guesses that I have read in these 23 pages of nonsense are 1. one of the other snakes that you received at the same time has something and being in the same QT room as your Killer Bee passed it on. 2. The mouse you fed it has something going on with it. 3. You handled the snake too firmly when force feeding it water and caused damage in its spine, etc.You keep asking why does no one think that it was a preexisting neurological problem with the snake? I don't see people here saying that isn't an option, I see people here giving possibilities towards other options. You keep throwing out the idea that it was pre-existing, so why should other people suggest that? This is a place to come up with new suggestions of what it is. Not continually repeating the same hypothesis. Your aggressive behavior and tendency to come at the other users on this site really has made you out to be the bad guy, even if that may not be the case. You really could have had everyone in this forum on your side had you went about your method of conversation differently.

I wish the snake the best of luck.

Wow junk snake huh. What a nice guy you sound like, I had my doubts already the amount of times you flipped that poor snake over in those videos.

She is beautiful and I hope she survives and is returned to the breeder she deserves better.

I am unaware of the existence of any breeder who offers refunds to someone who openly admits to having force fed a hatchling. You mention probes falling out of your caging and temps going up to 120 degrees. You've also admitted to not having the snake on heat for "about a day" which is completely irresponsible as a keeper. Those are all bigtime keeping errors that greatly reduce your credibility. Given the varying nature of your accusations within this thread, it doesn't sound like you were remotely experienced enough to diagnose any problem let alone perform a procedure. If that doesn't void a health guarantee, I don't know what does.
