In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Top Shelf Exotics (Inquiry)

Zach,
I haven't posted in this thread in a while, but I wanted to thank you for your participation here, and all the updates on your eggs. I know you want to be optimistic, but are also quite the realist, and frankly, it is appreciated by all who have a dog in this hunt, and those of us who do not. While we have known for some time that the odds of you not getting visuals if you had real hets were about 1 on 7 1/2, we also are pretty much resigned to the benefit of the doubt completely evaporating if you don't get a visual, with all the other reasons for doubt. While there are poor schloks out there who have had true hets not produce visuals two years running, there are also those who hit the lottery, and the current circumstances don't lend themselves to any benefit of the doubt, or acceptance of extreme odds. I hope you get a pied. I could tell you a story about the first pied ever to emerge from an egg in the U.S., ...... briefly, it was cut out, and died. Although curiosity killed the cat, it also confirmed that it was a recessive trait, and chickens could be counted before they hatched from that point forward. I would stay patient, and not rush anything. Thanks again.

Thanks, Jim. :)
I'm honestly not nearly as impatient with this clutch as I expected to be; probably due to the fact that I really don't see "white" in my future, lol!
Heck, I even have a note on my laptop to check the incubator window every day, because I've been forgetting lately!
One thing that keeps me optimistic is that if they don't prove out this time, there is a very kind individual out there who will take my girl on a breeding loan and get her bred to a Pied. That clutch, combined with this year's, will at the very least give me closure, and depending on next year's clutch size, may be enough evidence to win a legal battle.
One thing's for sure, there are going to be plenty of pictures this week when the eggs start pipping! :hehe:

Tosha ?

Did anything new come out in the short lived KS thread. I went straight to it when you posted and it was already gone.

Thanks,
Chris Rouille

The post was from someone that hadn't received his animals - there were a few replies from people that pointed him in this direction. The post was up for about half an hour before getting pulled, (right about the time I posted here) it was long enough that a couple of people emailed me asking what was up with TSE - there are still many, many people that don't know thier "hets" may not be.

I directed everyone that emailed me to this board and to contact officer Brown for paperwork because that was the only information that I could find in the thread. I know there is more but it's gotten lost in the shuffle.

No new news in regards to Chris or anything like that came out in the thread.

If anyone has got more information for those people please let me know and I'll pass it on.

Thanks,

Tosha

I got a letter from the NY Consumer Protection Board yesterday. It basically said that the letters they sent to Chris at the French Rd. #2 address were all returned "Addressee No Longer at This Address". So they have left it up to me to provide them with a new address. Not the best of news.

Bertram,

I wouldn't put my hopes very high that he would be easily found. This is a big country and if he keeps a low profile it can take years; provided of course there is enough interest by the collecting agencies. How much effort, energy, and money do you think a collecting agency will put into trying to find him? Sorry, that I can't be more optimistic but there are countless examples of people who have disappeared forever, and Chris' scheme doesn't even come close to what this people have done.

Collection Agencies... Hmmmm...

I would think that after a judgement is awarded by the NY court system in a civil case, the petitioners could hire a collection agency on a fee-recovery percentage basis...

Hey folks

Chris will surface when he is ready to. It really does not matter where he is hiding. Once the judgements begin piling up he will have his hands full with any type of credit attempt. Lets not forget that if a criminal pursuit becomes another option, then an arrest warrant will be issued. If he leaves the state, it becomes a federal issue for the federal marshals. In either case his surface will not be pleasant one................

Perhaps he has moved into apt #6 - one of his addresses he has used in the past? Derek, do you think a copy of that letter should be sent to officer Brown? In the instructions that came with the deposition he mentioned that Chris's whereabouts was known.

Officer Brown DID state that they knew where he was, here's a portion of the "instructions" sent with the deposition:

F) Any other factors you feel important to assisting us in not only locating TSE’s/Johnson’s places of criminal activity (we know where some of them are and where he is, but there may be more), but successfully prosecuting TSE/Johnson.

Plus, I don't think it's too difficult for Chris to have just told the person delivering the papers that he wasn't there, or had someone else answer the door. After all, "Pat and Glen" are sure to be very helpful to him in such matters.

I would send a copy of that letter to Mr. Brown.

Those who received hets don't have a case. Nothing has proven either way yet, and even if my clutch hatches out 7 normals, there is still not enough evidence for a case.
Right now, only those who purchased something and received nothing have a case.

As Zach said, it is only for those who have ordered and not received animals.

I just sent it to you Tosha, please let me know if you receive it, my ISP has been rather annoying lately.

Het Cases vs. Non-receipt of animals

Inv. Brown indicated that ANYONE who has purchased hets should fill out a deposition and get it to him ASAP as this case may drag on and it is important to get your name attached to the situation as soon as possible. It will be up to the courts to decide how many breedings are required before fraud can be substantiated. Also, it may prompt the court to require Johnson to provide proof of breeding stock origins, possibly causing his case to crumble.

Thanks for that info Jason, I did not know that! I will have to add that information to my case..............

Okay, I have a set of "hets" and have put my name in on Justin's list. Could someone forward me the desposition, since all of us are now supposed to fill it out?

the wonderful "someone" who sends it to me can send it to [email protected]

Thanks.
