In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Touch of Class Reptiles

I could be so far off the mark that it wasn't funny....however, this is what I got from the postings:

1. Boss sexed (missexing is common for these snakes...easy mistake to make)2. YOU packed, YOU shipped.

3. You came on and inferred that your boss was "unprofessional."

4. Yet, you are the one responsible for what went in the box, not your boss (although he does have to pony up if it's determined that YOU made a "mistake."

Ok y'all can nail me to a cross now. Like I said, I could be wrong.

Sorry Deb, Not true.
These snakes are easy to probe and can be sight-sexed as well.
Think spurs!

My error. Sexing these gorgeous animals (a friend has one) is not my area of expertise. I was told that they can be difficult to sex.

Thanks for the correction (filing information for further reference)..:)

Ed, I have been meaning to make an account for some time now, and I do read on here often. I mainly come to look for myself, people I know, or look up others. As I mentioned before, I do know Jason, and I wanted that to be known in the beginning of my posts. If I didn't announce this potential bias it would be unfair and discredit me more if I seemed deceptive.

And since I do know Jason, I can also say that I have seen his animals, and I know he didn't have any tree boas. So waiting for proof with more photos seemed really silly to me.

Thank you Gavin.

Jason somethings wrong with the pics you say are the snake sent to you.

please explain why your pics are not the same snake as Alexs?

1st 2 pics are Jasons.
2nd 2 pics are Alexs.

Am I the only one that feels the hand position while holding this animal for pics is a little too convenient considering the locations of the lesions?

I seen that to.

You have to handle a wc Emerald like that or you will be slashed to pieces with those long sharp teeth.

I've handle some nasty, nasty snakes in my day, but the hand placement and body positioning seems somewhat unnatural. This place can afford to pay employee(s), but can't invest in a snake hook. Doesn't make sense to me.

I can't see Jason's photos, but were his pictures handling them like that?

The snakes would look quite nice perched or sitting on a snake hook (like the younger ones they are selling http://market.kingsnake.com/detail.php?cat=33&de=732846 ). You do not "have" to handle a snake like that. That alone actually bugs me a bit. I looked at the pics a few times thinking that too though, but it really doesn't matter. The snakes showed up to the OP's door misrepresented and looking terrible and he did not want them. Who would tell a customer who immediately started treating them for the illnesses at their own expense that they aren't going to do anything about it. That is what really shocks me.

And regardless of me knowing Jason Olech first, it is still killing me to see this and have to put my name forward because I really like their blue baroni and I wish I would have read that this all worked out before I said anything. But it didn't look like that was where it was going, so I stepped up for someone I knew that I felt deserved it, and I will certainly be following this thread to the end.

You're right...no need to handle a snake like that for a pic. It does go to credibility when Alex says he shipped out healthy animals, but the exact location of sever injuries are covered in the ad pics.

Their handling of this situation doesn't shock me (I've seen too many would be good guys screw themselves over in the same way). They ship garbage and don't care about the animal, or the long term customer...just a quick buck. They've made my list of who no to deal with. If I'm not mistaken, they've aslo had some granite carpets....guess what? I'm a carpet guy...duh!

What shocks me is why Jason did not immediately ship those snakes back for a refund if they showed up in the condition he says they did?

The complete failure of the sole owner of TOCR to address this thread ( Assuming he got the email from Jason and Alex told him as well.) speaks more about the company than anything.
Sometimes what isn't said speaks volumes....the silence is deafening.

Tony C,

Shoot me an email at [email protected] and I will send copies of the emails and pictures to you tomorrow when I return from clinics.

I think it would be in the best interest of your thread to have the pictures posted for all to see rather than emailed privately. You mentioned before that they were too big to post, if you can't resize them yourself I would be happy to do so for you.

Agreed. I won't join in the speculation regarding Alex's hand placement and possible deceptive intent as it really is nothing more than speculation, but there is clearly some shady business happening. I wouldn't trust a company whose owner refuses to respond to an issue and drops it in the lap of an employee who has no authority to handle that issue.

I agree, I only offered that to those who could not view the pictures I posted. I will change the picture format and repost them. Please let me know if you are still experiencing trouble viewing them.

Ed, I can appreciate your saying I should have shipped the animals right back. Unfortunately, the animals were both in critical condition and would have surely died in transit. One has already died. While communicating with Kelvin I have been working diligently with my veterinarian (given that I am only a student) to stabilize them so they would be healthy enough to survive the return trip. Not doing so would be a guarenteed death sentence for the snake and given that I was refused a refund already I have no doubt that the status of obtaining a refund would not have changed even with the animals on their door step. I base this on our communication when they attempted to infer that my collection was the cause of this disease and refused to accept their return.

Lets try the picture thing again. Please let me know if anyone ha trouble viewing these.

Let me know if you still cant view these. I may have to post them on an alternative web page and provide a link so that all can see. I do not know why these are not showing up on here.

The links you are posting are to gmail attachments, I suspect they won't work because we aren't logged into your mail account. You can either save the pictures to your computer and post them as attachments, or use a photo hosting site.
