    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. You know with all of this going on and the person that tried to blame me for her snake dying and for me to be the one who sent this big nasty virus.. It is really strange how on Oct 26, 2007 I received this email from Jennifer inquiring about a snake that I had posted for sale. Here is the emails for those who want to question this, Just does not add up, but I am sure everyone is adult enough to form there own opinion,

If I'm not mistaken, when she wrote this she was still under the impression that she had a bacterial infection from an unknown source.

I think a lot of the emails you've posted have been edited and are from many months apart dealing with several different animals.

I'm curious to see what Jen has to say, but you are a known liar wyatt. It wouldn't surprise me a bit if you had sent her a sick snake and have now found a way to blame it on her.

I am sorry i am typing to fast to hit the refresh button. I appreciate the appology and i never said I made no mistakes in the past. I simply said that I wanted to get past this particular issue before I hit the next. Trust me I investigate every thread and every accusation that comes before me. Had a big name breeder not contacted me about the other forum she was posting on, I would still be on her trying to make sense off all this. Not everything I did was perfect but there is always someone trying to pull a fast one or put un-needed blame on another when it seems beneficial to them. Again, thank you David.

But I am sure you would find something else to say negative other than looking at the truth. I do not need to find a reason to blame Jennifer for anything at all. She did it to herself with all of the other post on TSK forum and then trying to cover it all up here by blaming it on my C.B.B. Het Clown that I sent her.

Were these new animals quarantined away from the rest of the collection Jen? I know in the past on several forums I have read through threads with photographs of your new animals with animals in your existing collection.

Generally you would expect CB snakes to be healthy, but its not always the case as many threads here prove.

If other snakes in your collection came down with the virus that killed the purchased snake I am lead to believe that you have poor quarantine practices put into use.

For something such as poor quarantine, the seller is not completely liable especially if it was unknown that this animal was ill. If the snake was indeed sent out with knowledge of its virus then something needs to be done about it.

Hey Wyatt, did you eveer take care of Mike S. for the balls that died? You know like TW stripe female that had an "RI" but was all better and safe to trade. She died shortly after and I am willing to bet it was from the same virus! You should also know that several of his snakes became very sick and just "dropped dead" after being around that female. I am going to try and convince Mike to get on here and tell his side of the story, since it did happen between the two of you.

You are right maybe Mike should get on here and tell his side seing that he took in that adult female pastel from my collection and was breeding it to the Mojave male ( if it is still alive ) after the fact and still has it in his collection up to this date. Your right I would encourage the owner ( Mike S.) of a local pet shop that knowingly buys imported animals ( over 75% being boas and balls ) on a weekly basis and keeps them as well as his own snakes at his business ( A Pesticide Company ) as well as his apartment when the electricity is on during the winter to come on here and talk about the deals I made for him and the options I gave him when I hand delivered both of those snakes in person!!! Yes Greg, lets get into that on a new thread, I would love too. Because I guarantee you that you to do not want to endulge yourself in that thread since I believe I have a little more insight into that situation that you could ever know. Because it has not been less than two hours since the last person that called and told me about that whole situation. In fact he still has the adult female pastel and is trying to breed her.

The WC snakes were bought back in FEBRUARY -- 7 months prior to your het clown arriving. The one arrived sick and died 6 days after showing up, before I could do anything -- hence why I said I have never had to deal with an RI. The second one is no longer in my collection and hasn't been for many months -- she laid her eggs, fed, and was just fine, then I sold her. I don't see how these or my CH animals from 8-16 months ago have anything to do with this? If they had carried in the virus, why are my snakes getting sick NOW and not when they first joined my collection? If the WC ones had carried it, how is an inanimate surface going to carry a live virus for MONTHS after both animals were gone, then it magically infects my new snakes?

The post regarding Dizzy developing her RI was October 2nd -- your het clown arrived to me on September 28th. Last I checked, September 28th comes before October 2nd. Dizzy developed her RI symptoms on September 29th -- I started her on Tylan, and Kari had told me that she should have shown improvment within 24-48 hours. By October 2nd, she was getting worse, which is when I started her on Baytril. That is the same day your het clown female exploded with a full blown respiratory problem. Here is the vet receipt for the Baytril as proof:

I did go in my snake room to check on breeding pairs -- I never said that I completely and totally stayed out of that room 100%. I said I did not go in there often -- to check pairs and check water. Yep, took some pics too. But I wasn't in there every single day, so that's how I missed the other 3 developing symptoms. Regardless of whether I was in there or not, it doesn't change the fact that they indeed got sick and died.

Why was I still breeding? Because up until 2 days ago, I was still being told that this was bacterial and would be able to be cleared up with some simple antibiotics. I don't know of any breeder that stops breeding their entire collection just because one or two have a "routine" RI. I was not breeding the sick animals -- I continued my plans with my healthy ones. Same reason I was looking to buy new animals -- still thought it was a simple bacterial RI with an easy fix. That was also when only the het clown was sick -- do you stop buying animals entirely if one of your snakes has a simple RI?

I have already explained my quarantine procedures previously in this thread. I have one snake room -- the other 2 rooms in my house are my bedroom and my daughter's bedroom. New arrivals go into a separate rack on the opposite side of the room. They are never in contact with my collection on the other side, I wear vinyl gloves when dealing with all new arrivals, change them and sanitize my hands before moving to another animal. I use strictly Novalsan to clean anything and everything in my snake room -- water dish holders, tongs, spray bottles, EVERYTHING. I am a germ freak. I change my Novalsan mixture every 5 days to keep it fresh and effective. When this all started coming down, I was forced to make a temporary quarantine in my bedroom -- and have been suffering since I have to keep the room at 80 and I sure the heck can't sleep at that temperature. That is why I never did it beforehand.

Did I miss anything?

Well, virus' can be dormant for a long period of time and also it may take months for it to manifest in a snake.
However, you have no quarantine procedure. Bringing in any newly purchased snake from outside of your established collection is asking for trouble.

If you "have" to bring newly acquired snakes into your bedroom, don't crank the heat up to 80! Use heat tape underneath the cages to the desired temps and they and you will be fine.
