In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy William Albright, very, very bad

I agree that it's extremely unprofessional to ship any animal with an URI, bite injuries and mites.

Has Mr Albright already sent you the shipping label for the animal with the number on it????
If not the door swings both ways. A shipping label can also be tracked VERY easily. He provides the postal money order and certified mail information and in turn you provide proof of a tracking number right away. Now is where BOTH OF YOU :)) ) have to bend a little and have some trust or you're still going to be beating your head against a brick wall and keep going in circles.

Is the snake getting treatment for the URI???? If so what was the Vet's prognosis of recovery?
Really, if it's going to just be easier to just keep the animal and call it good (bad choice of a word I know) if it's healing then so be it and keep him. Further damage has been done to Mr Albright's reputation is out there now with your posting. Even more so at this point with proof of him selling an ill animal is verified. He'll have to live with that and his "Bad Guy" mark.

I know it's really difficult dealing with a new animal who is not healthy but hang in there. Options are there even though they may not be exactly what you want. :D

Mr. Albright has not sent me a shipping label yet. As for the URI the vet stated that because we caught it in such an early stage, he should recover. I'm worried about the damage that may be happening to him from not eating for so long.

Ship the snake back to him already, so he can issue a refund. Quit dragging
this out. I've been doing business with Billy Allbright for 15-20 years. He is a
good guy. Mark Childers

Sorry but
moz-screenshot-1.png
in my book a "Good Guy" doesn't send out a snake with a RI. :NoNo:

If, as a dealer you sell 100 plus animals weekly, your bound to have an occasional issue from time to time. Mark Childers

If, as a good (are we seeing the difference here?) dealer shouldn't you then either scale back the amount of animals in your care to a more manageable number or bring on some help so that these "occasional issues" do not occur?

20ftplus I'm not the one draging this thing out, William Albright is. I emailed, texted, and called Mr. Albright numerous times ALL with no reply. I have given Mr. Albright plenty of ways to make this :censored: up right. And for me paypal is NOT an option because I DO NOT have a bank account to link to the paypal account. To ship this animal in his current condition is cruel and as I have stated many times over, THE ANIMAL'S HEALTH AND WELLBEING IS MY #1 CONCERN. And it is my honest belief that if he is shipped in his condition the stress of being stuffed in a box and placed in the belly of a plane for overnight shipping will most certainly kill him or if by some slight chance he makes it intact, only speed up his untimely demise. Thereby giving this scumbag of a man, William Albright, an excuse NOT to refund my money by claiming that I did something wrong.

wow

sounds like a big run around to me i cant understand why allan bosch would partner up with a person who does things in such a bs way

I just spoke to William Albright on the phone and he screemed at me and told me that he would seek legal action against me because I slandered his name and defamed his character. And also because I threatened his business and family by posting this thread on this forum. He also said that I was uneducated because I didn't know the proper title of my vet. I take my children to a dentist and I barely know his proper title. But guess what, I know he's a dentist, I know he specializes in teeth. So does that make me uneducated ? I told him that as long as I'm alive, I will keep this thread going and that I will also post on kingsnake.com. He insulted me and now I too will take legal action. I told him that I would tell everyone and anyone who is thinking of buying animals about this thread and the many other Bad Guy threads about him. I was more than fair with him, giving him numerious options in the emails that I sent to him for repayment. He told me that I had no evidence against him and that I would lose.

Mr. Albright's offer is quite fair. He is taking a large risk using Paypal, as once the money is in your account, and you ship a box, he has essentially lost all claim to the money. He is willing top become the buyer, which is where the risk lies with PayPal. You will have the money, and by providing PayPal with a tracking number showing a delivery, you have no risk, even if you ship a rock.

Your excuse of "not having a bank account to link to PayPal ... " is lame. You will still have two viable options:

1) Spend the money on another purchase using PayPal; or

2) Have PayPal issue you a check. Mommy can cash it for you.

If you decide the animal might not fair well in being shipped back, then you own it. I've yet to see an animal with mild URI that can't handle simple overnight shipping. The risk is all Mr. Albright's.

Tigger, at this point, my judgment is that you are being a bit unreasonable, and diluting what was a valid claim. As they say, "defecate or get off the pot".

This is a crock. Even the best vendors have issues on occasion. The measure is how they fix them, not the occasional issue. Heck, I have four kids. One was sick last week. While not for sale, should I "scale back"

I love this snake no matter what problems he may have :( . It's not about the money anymore, because if this snake dies, he will not die in vain. I'm here to say right now DO NOT support guys like William/Bill Albright. They foul the waters of our pristine hobby. I am not a breeder, I'm just a guy who owns these beautiful animals as pets. Even though they are pets they are still apart of my/your family. Just like our dogs, cats, or whatever animal you bring into your home, they deserve our respect and most importantly, our love.

As I have just recently found out Mr. Albright has had more than just occasional issues and a lot of people will vouch for that. And as for my mommy cashing a check, I'm a grown :censored: man, please do not disrespect me. Paypal has even told me that if something happened to the "money", that because I did not purchase from ebay they could not really back me up.

And true, some of the best vendors have had some issues on occasion with their animals. But you know what makes them the best ??? They DON'T SELL THE ANIMALS.

Jesus - So, what you are saying is that Mr. Albright, as evidenced by the e-mails you posted, tried to meet you half-way, and offered you a refund and/or replacement. Then called and yelled at you, and then threatened legal action for your actions here. Was this before or after you referred to him as a "scumbag of a man" on a public forum despite his attempt at being cooperative. Wait, I'll check....it was approximately 3 hours after that...hmmm. I sincerely hope (for that sake of that animal) that you have the funds to treat and care for him effectively.

David - While I do agree with you in most cases, I feel the BOI has the job of not only exposing bad guys, but trying to achieve some sort of common ground or solution. Although the possibility that RI was overlooked, or even exacerbated by the stress of shipping does exist. At the same time, I do feel Jesus is being somewhat unreasonable here, especially when it comes to feeding. I feed my breeder size carpets only every 3-4 weeks to keep them lean and libido high. This animal appears to have good body weight in the pictures provided, and I think the OP is overreacting with regards to the long term effects of missing a few meals.

In short, I don't think I'd deal with Bill Albright, considering the condition of this animal. But, I don't know if I'd deal with Jesus Blackman either. He was overly demanding, rude, and impatient. I think had it not been for these factors, some agreement could have been made.

Tigger,

No one is disrespecting you, as these are your words:

And for me paypal is NOT an option because I DO NOT have a bank account to link to the paypal account

and this is whitewash:

Paypal has even told me that if something happened to the "money" .... they could not really back me up

Once the funds are in your PayPal account, while a dispute can be filed, you need only proof of shipping a box to keep the money, for which Mr. Albright sent you a label.

So you are a "grown man" ? Whoop-ty-friggin-do.

I told him that as long as I'm alive, I will keep this thread going and that I will also post on kingsnake.com.

Tsk Tsk. Do you hold your breath until you get your way? Maybe Bill Albright was equally childish in the phone call, but we don't have his words first-hand, only yours Does his being an ass does indicate that you elevate by being one as well ? Do two assclowns make for being a "grown man"? Kingsnake will delete your posts, btw.

He insulted me and now I too will take legal action.

And apparently not very well schooled in what "grown men" should know. Keep us posted on the progress of your "legal action" :D

And true, some of the best vendors have had some issues on occasion with their animals. But you know what makes them the best ??? They DON'T SELL THE ANIMALS.

No, its in how they fix their mistakes. The best minimize the number of incidents, but there's not a vendor of any report out there that hasn't had to fix issues.

Mike Curtin ... that's dead on

Yes Mike, you may feed you breeder carpets that often, but we are not talking about carpets, we are talking about a sick and stressed retic. 2 completely different animals and situations. If you read the emails you would have seen the emails that I sent that went unanwsered while he was still posting snakes for sale on kingsnake.com. Then all of a sudden when I emailed him a link to this thread, he wants to talk. I bet if I hadn't put his name out there he would have never have spoken to me again.

He did disrespect me by say that my mommy can cash the check. Keeping a Bad Guy thread going is not childish, it helps inform people of who they may be dealing with. I am only interested in opinions and solutions, if people only have sarcastic and sly remarks, please keep them to yourself.

I bet if I hadn't put his name out there he would have never have spoken to me again.

Fine, but that is not where the argument is anymore Jesus. If I were Bill, I would give you 24 hours to take his offer, then be done with you. Your options at that point ? Keep this thread alive "so long as I am alive" .. which is about like this :shootfoot. And then there's the "legal" action you are going to take. There might be a few idiots who regularly dwell here and think that a real option, but anyone who has a clue about things legal, legal threats here in the BOI, etc., knows exactly how STUPID that threat by you is.

OK, get your wife to cash the check. Or your neighbor. Or your Daddy. You know what ? You can take the PayPal check, walk into one of those Philly banks, and get an assistant bank employee to help "youse" set up an account !

You are not thinking with your head anymore.

Billy. I'd give him 24 hours. Then "fugget abowt it".
