In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry BallBids.com?

Yes I agree but how was this one user able to get all gains in his favor ? ...100% of the time.? I was on there bidding as well, to check it out. I knew odds were against me to win but I said for this one time what the hell I will check it out. I watched every bid closely and that user won each one with 3 seconds left on the clock.

There's so many factors in how much they are making. If you buy 30 bids it's .90 each...probably the most popular purchase. Then lets say you get 30 bids by winning a bid pack for 1.00. That's $91 in their pocket for 30 bids...bringing those bids up to $3.00 each!! Now when those are used plus the .90 bids being used....well, you can see how much money is going into their pockets. I'd venture to say that they are getting at least $1.00 per bid after all the bid packs are bought and won via auction.

You are just stacking things on top of each other. If they made $90 on the auctions then yes technically those bids are "valued" at $3 each, but the winner didn't pay that much and those $3 bids aren't counting toward the amount they are making on the snake.

But either way, this shouldn't be a thread about how much money they are making auctioning these animals like this. It was an inquiry about if anyone knew who they were. We all know how they are doing the auctions now, now we just need to know if they are legitimate or not. It seems a little sketchy that one person came in and took all those auctions, but come on... No one knew what the auctions were at first and someone came in knowing how to play the game and beat you...

People still won from the first day, I'll be interested in knowing if they received their snakes or not.

No, they are NOT legit. Not at all.

I think this is the image everyone is talking about. I myself don't see this as legit proof, partly because its so small and it is hard to read the time stamp on it, but it DOES look as if the post from the "winner" was posted by Ballbids if you go according to timestamp.

Proof? I'm pretty sure all other threads have people demanding proof that they have scammed in some way...

I cant take a screen shot. I posted the girls name on FB who has the screenshot though. My notebook I am on won't let me do it, it is there though lol. I am sure someone will post it soon. It IS posted on another forum though.

Whenever your dealing with the Internet, there is lag everywhere you go. So you see it deferently than what is actually happening. Cause I don't doubt that that's what you saw and what your computer registered. But I was also at every auction and the timer went down to 1 second every time. But now they are saying the guy that won is the owner of the site, just waiting on the proof.

That would be it. I SAW it bigger. It was NOT so small when I saw it this morning. BUT the biggest thing is in that drop down window in the screenshot it says "commented on THEIR status"....except that was Ballbids post everyone was talking on. So proof. I think so.

THANK YOU for posting that.

Sorry I should have added. It isn't what was said in that box in the screenshot. It is where it says commented on their own status.

We need the screenshot I saw this morning though. It shows that is indeed ballbids wall.

Color me wrong, but isn't it also possible that Ballbids DID comment under that screen name, and then thought better of what they had said and immediately erased it?
(I've done that a couple times, because I type faster than my brain moves, sometimes).

I agree, it could have been on any of their posts, hence I only post the screenshot that I THINK everyone is talking about. I'm taking it with a grain of salt-- This is the only screenshot I've seen, at that, so if there is another, I'd love to see.

As of right now, we will be holding off till next week with our auctions. Do not forget that we are still raffling off the free fire girl today. The contest closes at 7pm tonight, and the winner will be announced at 12pm on Sunday. Thanks for everyone's support and we are excited for the raffle!

nrvgonestop Just closed his Facebook page.. I'd have to think is is almost over..

Interesting... the person defending them no longer has a page, unless they've blocked EVERYONE from viewing, in which case, whats the point in them having a page? lol (But when you do try to go see them, it just redirects to the FB Homepage).

No more auctions until next week? It does sound like everything has come to a close-- thoughts, anyone?

More statements from people who were bidding, that is backing up what I am saying about the reset clock and how the one user was winning all the auctions the other night

Sorry man, but your wrong, EVERY SINGLE BID they sell for whatever amount counts toward the amount they are making. When those particular bids are used towards an auction they are $3 bids just like the .90 ones count toward them when bought. You own them, but the money is already in their pocket no matter when you spend them. If you bid all 30 of the 3.00 ones then that's $90.00 on that auction because that's what everyone collectively spent on the bid pack your using to try and get the snake, it doesn't matter if you win or not, they are gone. I don't think people understand what's really being spent on these sights. It's not just the bids being used on an auction at "X" amount, the money is generated from the amount of bid packs they sell. Doesn't really matter what is spent on the snakes, the money is already in their pocket. Think about it, if they sold 100,000 bids to the 2000 people who "LIKE" them that would be 50 average bids each user (not an unreasonable number, it's probably higher)…that's around $100,000 in their pocket! They've auctioned 3 snakes for taking in $100,000 already! It's simple math really. Think about that!

But I do agree with you on getting back to whether they are legit or not, although I don't know if they will ever get a chance to prove it or not at this point.

Has anyone been able to verify that the man in the picture on both the website and for his user account here on Fauna is indeed one Avshalom Cohen? Any searches on his name yield results on a business man in Florida who most certaintly does not look like this guy.

I have to wonder just how common that name is in Florida. He also has no Facebook, which is a little odd considering he is involved with the Facebook for BallBids.com.

I also looked up the address linked to the website registration.

I've seen this ad a few places, made me curious too?

Hi everyone!
Hi redhood23!

I just moved up to Louisville, Kentucky from Coral Springs about 2 weeks ago! Which area did you live in? I lived off of Coral Hills, right behind the City Hall!

Putting the address into MapQuest correlates with the house being located just off Coral Hills Driver.

Just a few things I am finding a bit suspect ... on top of everything else.
