Jim, another hole in your story is that he sold you an 1100gr snake when he advertised it as 1200gr. Which was it, 1100gr or 1200gr. It ACTUALLY makes a difference in your case, trust me. From the way it sounds, if he sold you an 1190gr snake, which is what your scale says, it would be safe to say 1200gr for arguments sake. I dont think anyone here will complain about 10gr, being that its not drugs
Where I have a serious issue is, you had a 3rd party take responsibility to pick up a healthy paid for, Albino ball python. If it was sick, it should have been refused right there, whether he had time to look at it or not. If I am spending money, in person, I am going to inspect the animal to make sure that it is healthy. I would trust that, no matter how busy the person "I trust my life with, let alone an Albino ball python", would also make sure to do the same thing.
I am not biased here either. Personally, I dont think I would ever do business with the seller, even before this deal took place. Now, this is just my opinion and has nothing to do with anything in particular.
For one, he should not be freely sending out meds NOT prescribed to that snake, which is obviously what hes doing. Also, nice try blaming the buyer for taking his snake to the vet to get a more EXPERT diagnosis by saying he mixed meds. YOU sir provided him with the initial meds to begin with. To some extent, I might be inclined to think that you sent him the Baytril on purpose so you could make this claim just in case the snake died.
